Annie has called Montana home her whole life. She grew up in the mountains in both East Glacier and Whitefish. Annie has always loved people and the art of storytelling. These passions first led her to live theatre. Annie received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Theatre and Dance at The University of Montana in 2010. While engaged in the theatre arts, primarily as a stage manager, Annie spent several summers at the Fort Peck Summer Theatre in Eastern Montana, worked for the Bigfork Summer Playhouse, and toured with the Montana Repertory Theatre both across the state of Montana and nationally.

In 2016, Annie started her educational journey into mental health, substance use treatment, and social work at Flathead Valley Community College. In 2019, Annie received her Master of Social Work degree from Walla Walla University: Missoula campus. She moved to Helena in 2020 to pursue personal dreams and professional goals.

Annie joined the YWCA Helena team in February 2023 after feeling inspired by the YWCA Helena’s mission and to support the team with providing services for women and children as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a licensed addiction counselor (LAC).

Annie loves living in Montana, being outside in nature, yoga, creative expression, and riding horses whenever she can. She loves spending time with her husband, their pets, friends, and family.
