WINGS
Women Initiating New Growth and Stability (WINGS) is a residential sober living program that provides stability and safety for women (and their children) who are transitioning from stories of addiction and homelessness to self-sufficiency and healthy lives.
The WINGS program combines substance-free transitional housing services with outpatient treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Each WINGS participant is provided full wrap-around services incorporating a blend of individual mental health therapy and addictions counseling along with educational classes and group therapies focused on recovery from trauma and addiction. The program helps women master healthy self-care and life skills while they gain confidence and skills to live independently.
In order to participate, women must be experiencing homelessness and qualify for Intensive Outpatient services for a substance use disorder. To apply, please begin by submitting the application below along with an updated chemical dependency evaluation.
YWCA Helena is licensed as both a
Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program and a Mental Health Center.
YWCA Helena works with women and children who intersect with the four following realities: poverty, the criminal justice system, substance use issues, and mental health disorder(s). YWCA Helena’s WINGS program works to support the positive change our residents are seeking for themselves and their children if they are parenting.
